Monument Marine Group Acquires St. Augustine Marine Center

Monument Marine Group, an investment firm focused on opportunities in the marine industry across the US and Caribbean, is pleased to announce its acquisition of St. Augustine Marine Center – a renowned marine service center located in the heart of St. Augustine, Florida, from the Windward Marina Group. This strategic acquisition in Northeast Florida strengthens Monument's expansion goals in the southeastern United States – while enhancing its capabilities to deliver exceptional service to customers across the marine industry, particularly those traveling along the Eastern seaboard. SVN Safe Haven Advisors was instrumental in facilitating the sale of the St. Augustine Marine Center on behalf of the Windward Marina Group.

The property is ideally situated near the St. Augustine Inlet, allowing easy and navigable deepwater access to the Atlantic Ocean, just four miles away via the Intracoastal Waterway. The facility, established in 1992, serves as a central hub for marine services in the area, with a longstanding reputation for excellence in customer service and quality craftsmanship.

St. Augustine Marine Center comprises 30 acres and boasts an impressive array of features, including 1,100 linear feet of dockage with expansion potential, dry land storage, commercial rental space, a multi-building service center, and a state-of-the-art paint building spanning 18,750 square feet and equipped to cater to yachts up to 110 feet. The comprehensive range of services on-site include boat painting, carpentry and joinery, custom builds, electrical work, fiberglass and composites, generator repair, haul and launch services, mechanical repairs, prop reconditioning, refits and restoration, rigging, and other services.
